Cancellation & Refund Policy (Australian Consumer Law Compliant)

We adhere to the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), which outlines your rights and our responsibilities as an online retailer. Please read the following carefully before making a purchase.


When a Refund Is Not Guaranteed

Under Australian Consumer Law, customers are not entitled to a refund in the following situations:

  • You changed your mind about the product

  • You ordered the wrong item or size

  • You found the item cheaper elsewhere

  • You no longer want or need the item

  • You did not read the product description thoroughly

Please ensure you check your order details and item descriptions carefully before completing your purchase.


Order Cancellations

If you wish to cancel your order after placing it, the following conditions apply:

  • Orders can only be cancelled before dispatch. Once an item has been shipped, it can no longer be cancelled or recalled.

  • A 5% administrative fee will be deducted from the refund amount to cover processing and payment gateway fees.

Example:
If your order total was $100, a $5 admin fee will be deducted, and you will receive a $95 refund.

  • Approved cancellations will be refunded via the original payment method or store credit, depending on the circumstances and customer preference.


When You Are Entitled to a Refund, Exchange, or Repair

In accordance with Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a remedy if a product:

  • Has a major fault or defect

  • Is not as described or does not match the advertised sample or model

  • Is not fit for its intended purpose

  • Arrives damaged or faulty through no fault of your own

If you believe your item meets any of the above conditions, please contact us as soon as possible with evidence (such as an unedited unboxing video or clear photographs).


How to Request a Cancellation or Refund

To request a cancellation or refund, please contact us at info@kpopcheck.com.au with the following information:

  • Full Name

  • Order Number

  • Reason for cancellation or refund request

  • Any supporting evidence (e.g., unboxing video, photos)

  • Preferred resolution (refund, exchange, store credit)

Requests will be reviewed within 2–3 business days, and we will inform you of the outcome.


Shipping Costs

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable, except where the return is due to a confirmed error or product fault on our part.

  • For returns or exchanges, the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs unless otherwise agreed.
